t-shirt"Ours is bigger."  That is a quote from one of the new t-shirts available on the Dallas Cowboys website's online store this year.  This season, the Cowboys move into the largest NFL stadium ever in Arlington, Texas.  The massive facility has a capacity for 80,000 fans, and it is expandable to host 100,000 fans.  The approximate $1.15b stadium has a retractable roof, jumbo screens suspended in the air, and a museum dedicated to Cowboy greats.  The new stadium trumps the Whiner's Candlestick home, the Cheesehead's Lambeau field, and the homes of all of our NFC East rivals.  However, the Cowboys not only have the biggest stadium in the league now, we have the the most talented ridden team in the NFL this season.  All Pro QB Tony Romo returns to lead us to our 6th Vince Lombardy throphy.  So, get your popcorn and get ready for some hard hitting football this year as the Cowboys embark on the road to Miami for Superbowl XLIV.

All Pro Tony Romo is back at the helm this season at the all important QB position.  Romo had over 3,000 yards last season and made the Pro Bowl last year.  QB Jon Kitna was added in the off season to provide backup to the great Romo.

It's official.  The Roy Williams era has now started in Dallas.  With the departure of TO, Williams becomes our leading receiver this year.  WR Patrick Crayton, who some can argue has the best hands on the team, will join him on the other side.  Miles Austin and Sam Hurd should provide some insurance too as the #3 and #4 wideouts this year.

The Cowboys might have quite possibly the best trio of running backs in the league.  RB Marion Barber returns to lead this group of three.  RB Felix Jones is back after his injury last season, and he is poised to provide that quick burst of speed while Barber wears out the defenses with his hard running.  RB Tashard Choice showed last December that he can be a punishing back just lke Barber.  So screw the Giants - Earth, Wind, & Fire from last season!

The leagues top TE calls Dallas his home.  Jason Witten should make another Pro Bowl this year.  However, we also have a great backup TE in Martellus Bennett.

The defense had a few key upgrades this year.  DE Igor Olshansky joins us from the Chargers.  SS Gerald Sensabaugh joins us from the Jags.  ILB Kevin Burnett is also a nice addition to a defense that has Pro Bowl stars like DE Demarcus Ware and CB Terance Newman.  FS Ken Hamlin returns to the defense too.

Since 1960, the Dallas Cowboys have been committed to winning  in the National Football League.  Having appeared in the most playoff games and Superbowls of any NFL team, the Cowboys have proven themselves by winning five NFL championships including being the only team to win three Superbowls in 4 years.  Cowboy greats such as QB Roger Stauback, RB Tony Dorsett, WR Michael Irvin, and RB Herschel Walker still instill fear into NFL defensive players.  Furthermore, who could forgot the presence that Head Coach Tom Landry had on this team. However, our defense should not be ignored either.  The Cowboys have also boasted good defenses with greats like DE Charles Haley, DT Leon Lett, DE Tony Tolbert, DT Russell Maryland, CB Larry Brown, and CB Deion Sanders among others.

In 1989, the Cowboys embarked on a new path to excellence as Jerry Jones bought the team and stadium for around $170 million dollars.  Today, the Cowboys are the most valuable sports franchise in the world!  Jones brought in coaches like Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer, who all left Dallas with a Superbowl Ring.  They drafted a dominant team comprised of players like All Pro QB Troy Aikman, All Pro RB Emmitt Smith, DT Leon Lett, and All Pro OG Larry Allen.  Jimmy Johnson put together one of the best offensive lines in the history of football, which was one of the keys of our success in the 90s.  All of our linemen were Pro Bowlers including OG Larry Allen, OT Erik Williams, OT Mark Tuinei, OG Nate Newton, and C Mark Stepnowski.  The Cowboys also signed key free agents such as Pro Bowl TE Jay Novacek, #1 CB Deion Sanders, and All Pro DE Charles Haley.  Wade Phillips and Offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett are brought together this season to bring the Boys back to the Superbowl!

2009-10 INAUGURAL SEASON

Since 1996, www.anirbanroy.org (official web site of Anirban Roy) has provided Cowboy fans with a home on the Internet for the latest scores, stats, and news about our historic franchise.  Living in "Whiner Country," I was sick of the all of the 49er and Raiders crap on our local media.  The Bay Area (CA) has the most pathetic sports franchises in the country.  I had to do something to show my Texas Pride so I created this web site.  We are also famous for our "My Beloved Superbowl Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" site, which features the most beautiful women in the world!  Two years ago, one of the rookie cheerleaders found our site and emailed us about how our web site rocks!

Welcome back to another year at My Beloved Superbowl Dallas Cowboys!  We got some new features on this site this year including a link to purchase tickets to the home games from the Schedule page.  Moreover, we have made some of the tables larger and easier to view.  If you have a Blackberry, there is also a mobile site.  Go to http://www.anirbanroy.org/mobileCowboys.html for on the go Cowboys info!  The whole staff here at www.anirbanroy.org is excited to update this site on a regular basis and give you the latest Cowboys news this year.  May God Bless our Cowboys, The Great State of Texas, and our country.

Also, this is my 3rd season of having Directv's NFL Sunday Ticket at home.  For those of you Cowboy fans who live outside the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, this is the best option for us to watch our team at home.  Sure, it is expensive, but when you look at it, life is short - so watch Cowboys football as much as you can!
