Los Angeles & Vicinity

Here is my family back in the 1990s when we went to Universal Studios Hollywood.

I visited Knott's Berry Farms which is a cool theme park with rides and delicious homestyle fried chicken and biscuits back in 1997.

This is the old stone church at the San Juan Capistrano Mission in Orange County.  There are 21 total missions in California that were built by the Spanish.

This is a throw back picture from around my college days when I went to the beautiful Huntington Library with this lovely young lady.  This amazing place is located in San Marino, CA.

This is a picture of Newport Beach Harbor in Orange County.

This is the back lot at CBS Studios in Studio City, CA.  One of my friends had a party on one of the sets on site so I was allowed to get inside the facility.

This is a bikini contest in Venice Beach.  Venice Beach is where one can find a wide selection of activities.

This is California Adventures which is a theme park owned by Disney, and it is right next to Disneyland.

This is Little Tokyo in Los Angeles.  Japanese restaurants and shops are found here.

The Getty Villa in Malibu is designed like a First Century Roman Villa, and it houses lots of sculptures.

I have been to the Los Angeles area including Orange County many times.  The first time was back in 1993 when we visited Universal Studios Hollywood.  Since then, I have pretty much all the major LA attractions including Disneyland, California Adventures, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, etc.  LA is a fun place to visit, but the traffic is really bad regardless of what day it is.
