Croatian Islands of Hvar, Brac, & the Makarska Riveria

C1
This is the city of Vrboska on the island of Hvar.  It looks like a little Venice!  The stone work is typical of Dalmation architecture.

C2
This is the nicest beach in Croatia.  It is called Bol, and it is located on the island of Brac.

C3
The Makarska Riveria is a large stretch of the Southern Croatian Coastline.  It is quite scenic.

C4
Makarska is a cool little city on the coast.  They have nice clubs there.

C5
We stayed in Podgora on the Makarska Riveria for about 9 nights.  This was one of the views from the condo we rented.  Podgora is a nice quaint little coastal town.

Dubrovnik should be on everyone's bucket list of places to see.  It is quite amazing.  Not only is there a natural scenic beauty due to the sea and all the islands off the coast, but there is the Old Town area which is a walled city from the Middle Ages.  Dubrovnik was once an indepedent city-state called Ragusa.  Inside the Old Town, there are lots of shops and restaurants now.
