My brother and I took a day trip out of London that took us to Windsor Castle, Oxford, and Stonehenge.  Windsor Castle is the official residence of Her Majesty in the United Kingdom.  We got to go inside the State Apartments, and it was very intriguing to see how the Royal Family lives and conducts the affairs of the state.  I think the monarchy is good for the UK.  They have a central figure to rally around and get national pride in.
