Vancouver is a really beautiful city.  It is surrounded by mountains, lush forests, and lots of waterways.

Stanley Park was one of the nicest urban parks I have ever seen.  They had these cool totem poles also.

They had a "Fire & Ice" show on Sunday nights in 2015 when we went to Whistler.  Trained skiers and snowboarders jump through hoops of fire!

We drove up a little farther from Whistler and saw the Joffre Lakes area in British Columbia also.

I have been to Vancouver a few times.  The first time, we explored the Capiliano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver before touring the downtown area.  Vancouver is a really scenic area.  The second time I went to Vancouver, we toured Stanley Park as well as went to Whistler.  Whistler was the site of the alpine events for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.  The Whistler Village was alive and kicking with all the skiiers and snowboaders.  They have a lot of nice restaurants and bars too for "apres ski" party.
