Lake Tahoe Area

  Tahoe
Skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort (back in college).  I skied at Heavenly before too when I was in college.

A scenic winter drive up to Tahoe.  I had to take my rental Ford Edge Limited SUV up since I was still waiting for new company car to be delivered to the dealer.  It was a sweet ride!

The drive up to Tahoe on US 50 can be quite breathtaking!

T3
Chilling at the private Lakeside Beach.  Guests of the Embassy Suites Resort in South Lake Tahoe get complimentary access to this beach club.  Tahoe can get hot sometimes in the summer.

T4
The lake is pretty blue!

Since Lake Tahoe was so close to UC Davis, we would go skiing usually once a year up there.  This picture above is from our dorm ski trip to Sierra at Tahoe.  My fraternity also had a ski trip to Heavenly Ski Resort up in Tahoe also.  In addition, we have had College Republican retreats up at Tahoe also, where we would rent large three story cabins with hot tubs.  They were fun!  Yeah, we would use the hot tubs even when it was freezing outside and snowing.

After graduating from college, we had a few cabin trips up to South Lake Tahoe also to unwind and enjoy the winter scenery.

In 2010, I took a position with a European pharmaceutical company, and my new territory included South Lake Tahoe.  I had to go up there usually once every two weeks to meet with Health Care Providers.  So, I stayed overnight for one night usually in South Lake Tahoe at the Embassy Suites-Lake Tahoe Resort near the CA-NV State Line.  It was pretty cool.  Since I stayed there so often and also had Hilton Honors Diamond Status, I was usually upgraded to a premium suite on the top floor.  They also put me in one of their largest suites usually (927).  Click here for pictures for Suite 927.  Tahoe was fun to work in year round!
