One of the first things we saw in Segovia was this old Roman aquaduct!
Crazy how it is still standing!

This is the cathedral of Segovia. It reminds me of something
from Game of Thrones!

The Alcazar of Segovia is the castle where Queen Isabella met
Christopher Columbus before we left for the New World!

This was a cool statue in Segovia by the castle.

These are the old city walls of Segovia to keep invaders out.

I thought this was a pretty cool building. This kind of
reminds me of buildings in Portugal which used tiles on the outside.

I wonder if this was from Roman times! Crazy!

Segovia is an ancient city within two hours of Madrid. This
city goes all the way back to Roman times, and they have a really neat
aquaduct from those days. The surrounding areas reminded me
of scenes from that movie, Gladiator,
when Maximus went back to his homeland of Spain. The castle
of Segovia was home to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand who were the
two monarchs who united Spain.
