San Antonio, TX

  SA1
The Alamo is probably the most famous attractions in San Antonio.  This was the site for a historical battle between the Texas Army and the Mexican Army when Texas faught for her independence from Mexico.

Market Square in downtown San Antonio is a fun place to shop and have dinner.

S2
Mi Tierra Cafe and Bakery is a must try for all visitors to San Antonio.  Their food is amazing!

4
The Six Flags of Texas are shown here near the Alamo.  They include the French, Spanish, Mexican, Confederate, Texas Republic, and USA flags.

S5
The River Walk is the other famous attraction in San Antonio.

S6
They have boat tours on the River Walk as well.  The River Walk was man made by diverting the San Antonio River through downtown.

<>S7
The Tower of the Americas can be seen in the background here from the River Walk.

S9
The Alamo looks cool at night also with the lighting.

S8
The nightlife on the River Walk is fun also.  I recommend the Merkaba Bar.  There is live music often times.  The bartender is getting my top shelf Hudson River Whiskey down for me here.

The first time I visited San Antonio was as a preteen living in Texas.  We went to Sea World of Texas down there.  I returned there in 2018 to ring in the New Year as the city celebrated her 300 year anniversary.  San Antonio is a beautiful city with the River Walk, Alamo, and Tower of the Americas.
