I went to Galveston a few times when I was a youngster living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as a middle schooler.  Galveston is an island off the coast of Texas known for beaches and old Victorian homes as well.  I remember we went to a great Chinese restaurant called Happy Budda once there too.
