St. Louis, MO

1
The two famous landmarks in St. Louis include the Gateway Arch and the Old Courthouse.  This is the courthouse where the Dred Scott case was heard.  Dred Scott sued for his freedom when he was a slave.

2
The Gateway Arch is 630 feet high, and one can go to the top in a tram!

I took the tram to the top of the Gateway Arch.

This is a view of downtown St. Louis from the top of the Gateway Arch.

5
The other major attraction in St. Louis is the Anheuser Busch Brewery.  Budweiser is made here!

6
The Clydesdale Horses are a Budweiser Icon.  The stables are at the Anheuser Busch Brewery as well.

Historic St. Charles is just across the Missouri River from St. Louis.  It is like going back in time.

I visited St. Louis during Fourth of July in 2019.  The Fourth of July is celebrated in grand fashion in this Midwestern city known for the Gateway Arch.  Fair St. Louis is a multiday event where there are free concerts and plenty of fireworks!  On the 4th, we attended the Brett Young concert before watching the grand fireworks over the Mississippi River.  The Anheuser Busch Brewery is a must visit attraction also in St. Louis.  We also toured St. Charles which is a historic city on the Missouri River.
