The Pilgrims landed in present day Plymouth, MA in 1620.  The rock that they set forth on (a.k.a. Plymouth Rock) has been preserved and is viewable in Plymouth, MA.  Of course, the 1620 was not etched in the rock when they got here.  LOL.
