We hung out with our good friends, Chad & Aileen, in Las Vegas.

Joy and I are on the rodeo dirt where the bullriders competed.  The weather was not bad for May.

The girls at the LAX Booth are standing by as I spin the wheel to see what prize I get.

Joy is shown here with a PBR champion!  Guilherme Marchi is a Brazilian bull rider.

Some of my friends joke that Aaron Roy is actually a distant cousin of mine.  LOL.  He is a bullrider from Canada.  I have seen him ride before at PBR events!

This is one of the bulls at the event.

Band Perry was awesome!  The show was delayed a little because of thunderstorms in the Las Vegas area.

Vegas had some rare May rain and thundershowers when we were there.  Here is a cool picture of the strip with the storm coming in.

We went to Zion National Park on Memorial Day.

Zion was a fun place to explore.

Joy and I went to Las Vegas during Memorial Day 2015 to attend the PBR Cowboy Spring Break event as well as visit my family and hang out with friends.  The weather was actually really nice for that time of year when we went.  We went to watch Zumanity at New York New York with our friends from Imperial County in California to kick off the weekend.  Zumanity is the "adult side" of Cirque du Soleil.  The next day, we went to the PBR Cowboy Spring Break at the MGM Resorts Event Area near Luxor.  They did not have any bull riding on that day, but we got to meet the riders and get autographs.  Moreover, there was lots of western apparel vendors there along with booths were one could win prizes from sponsors like Jack Daniels and Malibu Rum.  The best part was the country concerts that day.  We saw Clay Walker perform first.  He was awesome.  Clay Walker is more from my high school and early college years, but he rocked it especially on his hit, "What's It To You."  Band Perry was the headliner that night.  They were so awesome also.

The next day, we went to visit Zion National Park in Utah.  Zion has shuttle buses now that take guests on the scenic drive part of the national park.  We took the shuttle bus to the end of the drive where we hiked around for a little bit before heading back to the visitor's center.  The weather was really nice also for our day at Zion.
