Munich or Munchen, Germany, is located in the Southern part of Germany close to the Bavarian Alps.  I spent a night in Munich once while returning from a trip to Eastern Europe.  The airport is about 35-40 minutes from Central Munich so I took the S-Bahn Train from the airport directly into Rosenheimer Platz where my hotel, the Hilton Munich City, was located.  While in Munich for the night, I was able to tour the major Medevil Gates, Cathedrals, and even the Hofbrau Haus.  I also visited a beer garden.  The German beer was pretty good.
