Mineral Wells & Palo Pinto County, TX

1
Home of the Crazy?  Mineral Wells is the home of Crazy Water, which is local mineral water known to cure "crazy people."

2
The Baker Hotel in the background is supposedly haunted!  Mineral Wells has a nice older downtown area.

3
Downtown Mineral Wells is pretty small and very safe.

4
I recommend stopping by the Crazy Water store to try level 1 through 4 of their mineral water plus the sparking mineral water!

6
These are red angus cattle on a ranch owned by a friend of mine's family.

7
Rural Palo Pinto County has lots of natural gas wells too.  This pump gets the water out of the ground so the gas can be extracted.

5
Possum Kingdom Lake in Palo Pinto County is a large reservoir.  There are amazing homes on the shores.

Out of all the places that I have lived, the DFW Metroplex remains my favorite!  The Great State of Texas is an awesome place to live.  The people are really friendly, and there is no state income tax either!  The women are just unbelievable gorgeous too!  The homes are huge too!  I went back to visit the DFW area in 2013 when I had meetings there for work.  I stayed around for a few days after to go see my Texas Rangers play the Cincinatti Reds and also tour some of the areas that we did not visit when I was a little kid.  The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex includes Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding cities like Arlington, Plano, Richardson, Coppell, Irving, Duncanville, Addison, Farmer's Branch, University Park, Highland Park, and others!
