The partiers at Mardi Gras throw beads down from the balconies.
Partying with the Captain (Morgan) on Lundi Gras
We decided to have brunch at the Commander's Palace on Lundi
Gras. The Commander's Palace is New Orlean's finest restaurant,
and they do a Jazz Brunch.
Here is the typical architecture one sees in the French Quarter.

This is the Zulu Parade.
I am taking in the Zulu Parade.
I decided that I needed
to experience Mardi Gras at least once so I went to New Orleans in 2012
to see what the fuss was all about. I flew into Jackson, MS so my
friends and I could drive down to Baton Rouge, LA and party with the
"Tigers" of LSU first. We were not disappointed.
Afterwards, we drove down to New Orleans visiting a plantation on the
way. In New Orleans, we also toured a swamp too. Mardi Gras
was a huge party! It was everything you hear about and
more!
