One of the many pools at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in
Phoenix, AZ where I stayed.
The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs left a bottle of cider and chocolate
strawberries in my 1 bedroom suite to welcome me since I am a Hilton
Honors Diamond Member. My suite was also upgraded to a "Falls
View" suite, and it was free too because I travel so much for business.
Sporting my Ranger's gear near the Falls Pool area at the Pointe Hilton
Tapatio Cliffs Resort. It was cool seeing everyone walk around
with their baseball gear around the hotel and Phoenix during Spring
Training! I just hate the A's fans primarly!
The main reason I went to Spring Training was to see my Texas Rangers
play at our Surprise, AZ Cactus League Facility. It was an
amazing stadium for Spring Training!
The Rangers share this facility with the KC Royals.
I was so excited to be at a Ranger's "home game" since this was at our
home Spring Training field. It was cool to be surrounded by
fellow Rangers fans too instead of the enemy (Oakland A's fans) when I
watch my Rangers in Oakland.
You are really up close to the action during Spring Training. I
sat a few rows back from home plate. Adrian Beltre is at bat in
this photo.
This is our pitcher Derek Holland at the mound.
"Nellie, Nellie" - The chant for Nelson Cruz!
I am sporting my new Rangers Spring Training t-shirt in Scottsdale, AZ
where we explored the local bar scene.
My friends Jason and Ginny with me at a bar in Tempe, AZ near
ASU. The women are so hot down there in Arizona!
Here are some of my friends at a White Sox-A's game at Camelback Ranch
in Glendale, AZ. I hate the As, but my firiends wanted to check
them out.
I went to Phoenix, AZ
for Spring Training in March of 2012 for the first time. It was
an awesome trip! A bunch of my friends went down with me to check
out the teams, party, and just have some fun in the Arizona sun.
Since I am a Hilton Honors Diamond Member and travel for business so
much, I got a free 1 bedroom suite at the beautiful Pointe Hilton
Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix. My upgraded suite had a view of
the falls at the resort too. I mainly went down to see my back to
back AL Champion Texas Rangers! The Ranger's game was so
fun! We beat the Cleveland Indians by a score of 6 to 1 that
day. Go Texas!
