My
House - Sacramento, CA
As I was nearing my 2nd year anniversary as a
pharmaceutical sales representative, I started looking at buying a
house in the Sacramento area. I found a good realtor through
Costco's Realtor referral program, and he was able to show me a house
that I fell in love with. Since I was only interested in new
construction, we toured the new communities in Natomas, a part of the
City of Sacramento. Natomas is a brand new area surrounded by
lots of open space and city parks. The first community that my
realtor took me to was the builder I went with. I had toured some
other communities previously on my own, but none of those builders
compared to Lennar. Lennar is known for their "Everything's
Included"
homes. They include the options that many builders charge you for
such as 10 ft ceilings, finished and textured garage interiors, laundry
room cabinet and sinks, backyard landscaping with sprinklers, prewire
for security system and home theater system, ceramic tile in the
kitchen,
baths, and laundry, ceiling fans, colonial baseboards, and much
more. The other nice thing about Lennar is they automatically add
in the key upgrades I wanted such as the maple cabinets, stainless
steel appliances, granite counters in the kitchen and baths, and
upgraded carpet. I was shocked to see that a lot of the other
builders still put in crap like tiled counters, cheap oak cabinets, and
lino flooring.
