Glenwood Springs has the world's largest hot springs pool!
The pool looks cool at night also with the lights!
Glenwood Springs is also famous for being the place where Doc Holliday
died. This tavern named for him is next to the old hotel that
burned down where Doc died.
The downtown area is pretty neat with lots of old brick buildings.
Here is the historic Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs.

Glenwood Springs, CO
is a nice little town built along the Colorado River west of
Denver. Glenwood Springs has two major claims to fame. One
is having the world's largest hot springs pool. We stayed at the
Glenwood Springs Hot Springs Lodge which is the resort which owns the
pool. I loved swimming in that large pool which was heated by
natural hot spring water!
The second claim to fame is that Doc Holliday died
here. He had TB, and he thought the mineral waters of the hot
springs and the vapors from the geothermal caves would cure him.
The downtown area has lots of neat old brick buildings, and there are
lots of great restaurants to try! We actually had really fresh
sushi and sashimi here too at Ming's in downtown. There is also a
tasting room for a local distillery called Stoneyard Distillery.
