The Dallas Stars only came to San Jose once during the 2016-17 season to play the Sharks.  I HATE THE SHARKS!  Just thought I would get that off my chest before we go any further.  LOL.  So, Joy and I went down to see them in March of 2017.  I got a new Jaime Benn jersey too for the game.  Benn is our best player.  The Stars did not have that good of a season this year, but I am a proud fan during both the good and bad times.  The game was on a Sunday night.  Joy and I went down there on Saturday so we could hang out with my little brother and his girlfriend who lived in San Jose.  We got a room at our favorite South Bay hotel, the Juniper for that night.  The Juniper is a Hilton Curio property, which is their small collection of boutique hotels.  The Juniper has really nice rooms and even has a nightly wine tasting in the lobby.

    We had dinner with some friends on Sunday before the game in downtown San Jose.  I wanted to get to the game early so I could watch the team warm up.  The game did not go our way.  We lost that night.  Regardless, it was cool to see them play live again.
