I went to Costa Rica
in May of 2014 to go explore this lush tropical nation in Central
America. San Jose is the capital city of Costa Rica, and my
journey began there. It was about a 5 hour and 40 minute flight
from LAX to SJO (San Jose). The airport is actually located north
of San Jose in a town called Alajuela. From there, we toured the
Arenal Volcano and Tabacon Hot Springs as well as the rain forests of
Heredia. We saw the cloud forests also on the way to
Arenal. Furthermore, we went to Guanacaste which is on the
Pacific Coast. We stayed at an all inclusive resort on Papagayo
Gulf.
