They had lots of ice sculptures near Lake Louise at the Fairmont Hotel.

    Banff National Park is one of the most beautiful mountain areas in the world.  I was there during the winter for snowboarding and snowshoeing.  The national park area is huge, and it includes the town of Banff and Lake Louise as well.  Lake Louise is frozen during the winter, and one can walk on the lake usually.  The Victoria Glacier is really beautiful.  The Lake Louise Ski Area is very large too.  I snowboarded at Norquay in Banff.
