This is a nice view of Toledo we got on the way out of town.

We were in Toledo during the Festival of Corpus Christi so the streets
were decorated with flowers and garlands!

The Cathedral of Toledo was amazing!

We were able to go inside the cathedral with our tour guide.
It reminded me of Montmartre in Paris.

Gold plating on steel is an artform from Damascus, Syria, which was
brought to Toledo a long time ago.

Toledo is about an hour
from Madrid, and the city has so many amazing historic buildings.
The narrow streets reveal a beautiful cathedral as one makes
their way through this grand city built high on a hill. There is
a long escalator system that takes people up to the old town from the
base.
