Sarasota, Florida

Siesta Beach on Siesta Key is often times rated the #1 beach in the United States!

Siesta Key is known for white sand beaches and warm Gulf of Mexico waters.

The Gulf Shore of Florida has beautiful teal colored waters.

St. Armand's is a small island off Sarasota that has beautiful statues all over the main square.

St. Armand's has a Tommy Bahama restaurant as well as a Kilwin's Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop!

Lido Key Beach is very secluded and also features white sand beaches in Sarasota.

We had lunch at this Wing House not too far from Sarasota, which is a sort of Hooters knock off with scantily clad waitresses and great wings!

Sarasota, Florida is home to miles and miles of white sand beaches along the Gulf Coast of Florida.  There are a few small islands or keys (cays) off the coast which have some of the top beaches in the country including the #1 rated Siesta Beach.  The white sand beaches along with the warm teal colored waters of the Gulf of Mexico make Sarasota a popular tourist destination for beachgoers!  Sarasota's downtown area is home to many great restaurants and bars as well.  Wing House is a Florida based chain that is a knock off of Hooters, and the chain features their own brand of sauces for their hot wings as well as cute waitresses who are wearing similiar shorts and tank tops that the waitresses at Hooters wear.
