    2001 was when I graduated from UC Davis.  That summer, I was up in Northern California during Fourth of July weekend so we planned a day of fun in the Bay Area.  We checked out an A's baseball game first in Oakland.  Alex and I hate the A's so we cheered  for the visiting Angels even though they are also rivals to my Texas Rangers.  Afterwards, we drove to San Francisco to have dinner in North Beach and watch the fireworks.  In this picture, Dale, Kirsten, Laura, and Alex are pictured with me.  Dale was a Kappa Alpha Theta from Canada that was doing a medical school externship at UCD Med Center.
