Rangers @ A's (July 2019 Series)

1
We were seated by the Rangers Bull Pen for the Saturday night game in Oakland.  This was the third game of a four game series in Oakland.

2
Both benches cleared after a lowly A's player was hit by a pitch.  Fucking whimp!  (Excuse my language).  The A's are sore sports.

3
They had a fireworks show after the game with a Pixar Toy Story theme.  Fans were allowed on the field for the show.

Fireworks
The fireworks were actually pretty decent for something out in the pathetic city of Oakland.

Hotel
We had our usual room at the Doubletree Newark for that night.  They have a complimentary mini bar for Diamond guests like me.

6
We are showing our Rangers pride here for the last game in that series on Sunday.

Let's Play Ball!

The Rangers and As were both playing well in 2019 around the time of the All Star Break.  My Rangers were a surprise since we were expected to be really bad since we were rebuilding, but we had great hitting which was backed up by good starting pitching from All Star Mike Minor as well as others like Lance Lynn.  Our bull pen also had some really good games going into the All Star Break.  However, we had a slide after the All Star Break which took us out of the Wild Card chase during this series with the pathetic A's of Oakland.  Although Oakland is still in the hunt for the Wild Card, I was rooting hard for the other Wild Card competitors like Cleveland or Tampa Bay also.  I HATE OAKLAND!  So, I will root for them to miss the playoffs every year!  This team has a crappy ballpark, and I do not like how cheap their ownership is.  You can not win a championship in today's baseball environment in a relatively small media market without spending a lot of cash!  The A's leadership show every year that they are not willing to spend.  Thus, the A's fans are screwed over.  LOL.  My Rangers spend the money each year to deliver for their fans!
