In June of 2013, I got to go to Dallas for meetings so I stayed over for that following weekend so I could watch my Texas Rangers take on the Cincinatti Reds during a three game series at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington! It was so amazing to be there in Arlington! I have watched my Rangers play in Oakland and Seattle during the regular season, and I have been to the Rangers spring training facility in Surprise, AZ, but this was my first trip out to the Ballpark in Arlington! It was SO AWESOME! We had seats that were only five rows from the field level. Although it was hot when we got there, it was still fun to be there. Grimm was our pitcher that night. We had our usual line up including Kinsler at 2nd base, Moreland at 1st base, Beltre at third base, and A.J. Pierzynski catching for us. Our normal SS Elvis Andrus was at DH that night, and Profar was playing SS. We had over 40,000 fans that night at the ballpark. I don't think the pathetic As of Oakland even get that many fans in a weekend series put together! I hate the Oakland As! We ended up winning this game by a score of 4-0. The Rangers swept a three game series with the Cardinals the week before so I think we OWN the NL Central!
