      Old Faithful
I am waiting for Old Faithful to erupt here!

There she blows!

Here is a smaller geyser behind me.  Yellowstone has lots of geysers!

4
Look at all that hot water that comes up from the ground!

5
This is the "grand canyon" of Yellowstone National Park with one of the water falls.

6
Do not jump in and try to swim in this!  It is super heated water!

7
Yellowstone has lots of Bison in the park.  Observe them from a distance.

This is a cool area of the park with sulfur deposits.  It does smell like rotten eggs however.

In 2006, we went to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming for the Fourth of July weekend.  Because Yellowstone is hidden away in a remote location , we had to fly into Salt Lake City, Utah and then drive about 330 miles to West Yellowstone, Montana.  We stayed in West Yellowstone, Montana for 2 nights while we toured the park and the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center.  In this picture, Old Faithful is pictured behind me.  I love that Canon Mini-DV camcorder that is around my neck.  I have had it for a few years now, and it takes great digital video.  However, I like my Minolta digital camera's short video feature also since they are saved in quicktime and can be imported into my iPod video.  We saw the other geyers, "The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone," a lot of water falls, and also hot springs while we were at Yellowstone.  For the most part, we got to see all of the park including Mammoth in the far north end as well as the southern part of the park also.  Moreover, we also saw lots of wildlife including coyotes and bison.
