Nashville, TN

Lower Broadway in Nashville reminds me of Las Vegas a lot.  It is quite a party down there at night!

Pretty much all the venues on Lower Broadway have live music day or night.  Blake Shelton's "Ole Red" was no exception.  There was even a red tractor on the ceiling!

The Printers Alley is a famous alley in downtown Nashville.  It started out as a place for a thriving printing industry before becoming a hot spot for clubs and bars.

This is Lower Broadway during the day.  Most restaurants have roof top bars and lounges too.

5
This is the world famous "Nudie's Honky Tonk."  They had a car on the wall!

N6
AJ's Gold Time Bar had live entertainment during the day as well.  Most of these musicians are playing for tips only.

Here is a picture of the AT&T Building in downtown Nashville.

The Country Music Hall of Fame is definitely worth checking out.

N9
We caught a show at the Grand Ole Opry too which is the longest running live radio show!  We saw Rascal Flatts, John Conlee, and the Bellamy Brothers that night in addition to a few other stars.

I am wearing a nice straw hat outside the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

The replica of the Parthenon in Centennial Park is another must see attraction in Nashville.

I love Nashville!  As a country music fan, I wanted to always go visit the home of country music, and I got my chance in 2018.  Nashville, TN is a huge party scene also with lots of bars and clubs on Lower Broadway that have live music day or night, and there is a fun crowd ready to party it up.  The clubs also feature roof top lounges and bars too overlooking Lower Broadway and downtown Nashville.  The bands that perform down there play for tips, but most are pretty good.  A lot of the country stars like Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, and Jason Aldean have their names on a club or restaurant there.  The original home of the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium, is located near Lower Broadway also.

The Country Music Hall of Fame has enough stuff to keep one busy all day.  It is worth a visit.  Away from downtown, there is the current Grand Ole Opry which has live performances several nights a week with country stars of the past as well as today.  Moreover, there is a cool park called Centennial Park which features a replica of the Parthenon from Greece.

Nashville has great food too!  Whether one wants some down home comfort food at the Shoney's chain or fine dining at a good steakhouse, Nashville has it all.  We tried two of the top steakhouses in the city including Jeff Ruby's and Jimmy Kelly's.  Both had amazing meat and great Southern hospitality.
