Mavericks at Warriors (December 2019) - The Bay LOST!  HAHAHAHA!!

M1
This was our first view of Chase Center after we parked in the adjacent garage at our $68 parking spot to walk over to the arena.  LOL.

M2
The Mavericks played the Warriors in December after Christmas so the decorations were still up.

We are waiting to enter the arena here.

Joy and I are near the court watching the Mavericks Warm Up.

Seth Curry and Dorian Finney-Smith are warming up here.  Curry is in the middle.  Dwight Powell is sitting down to the side on the left.

Our star player, Luka, is warming up here.

Luka hits three points and free throws like they are nothing!  He is the new face of the NBA!

The Mavericks got off to a great start in 2019 with the new star in the NBA, Luka Doncic paired up with another star in Kristap Porzingis.  The Mavericks were the leading offense too outscoring opponents like crazy.  The Warriors were a bottomfeeder team once again in 2019, and they were in last place when we played them in San Francisco.  I hate the Golden State Warriors!  During Black Friday, there was a special for tickets to any games at the new Chase Center in San Francisco if one used a Chase credit or debit card to buy them.  I was able to secure two seats directly through the box office site with no fees.  My only dilemma was where to park.  At first, we thought about staying in South San Francisco near the airport and taking a Lyft to and from the game since I do not like public transportation, and I also do not like going to San Francisco either.  They have a terrible homeless problem that was brought on through years of mismanagement by the city officials.  Finally, I decided to buy a premium parking pass at the garage next to the arena for $68.  It was well worth the money.  The police helped usher the people who parked in that garage from the street, and the garage was not crowded at all.  It looked like it was used by VIPs who purchased expensive season tickets so we were safe there also.

I was in my full Mavericks gear too as we went inside the arena.  I wanted to show these Bay Area wackos that I was a proud fan of the D/FW Metroplex teams!  Chase Center was a major upgrade from the previous home of the Warriors in Oakland.  We got to the game right when the doors opened so we were able to watch the Mavericks warm up too.  Luka Doncic came out and warmed up too so we got to watch him hit his three point baskets up close!  Luka is amazing!

The food options inside the arena were not bad, and they had a nice souvenir cup which did not have any Warriors logos on it so I bought it since the soda machines were around the facility for unlimited refills.

The Mavericks started out slow, but we turned it on after the half!  The Mavericks destroyed the Warriors by a score of 141 to 121.  Luka had another triple double!  Porzingis (KP) had a good game also.  Seth Curry also did well from the bench.  I was very impressed with the Maverick's bench including Delon Wright and Justin Jackson.  We humiliated the Warriors in their own house after we gave them a major beat down in our house earlier this season when we beat them 142-94!  I was cheering so loudly for my Mavericks too.  Some of the young kids were yelling out "hater" to me, but I did not care!  I am not from the Bay!  I am proud of my Texas roots!

After the game, I thought about that Master Card commercial that says that something was so and so dollars, something else was so and so dollars, and a third item was so and so dollars, but the ultimate result was PRICELESS!  I had the same feeling here.  I paid x number of dollars for our tickets, $68 for parking, and x number of dollars for our hotel room in the Bay Area for Saturday night, but watching my Mavericks humiliate the lowly Warriors at home was so PRICELESS!
