One of the perks of my current job is a brand new company car roughly every 2 years based on the amount of driving I do.  This is my latest company car, a 2008 Ford Fusion SEL with leather and moonroof.  The Ford Fusion was named "most appealing mid sized car" by Automobile Magazine.  It is designed on the Mazda 6 platform, and it also shares it's design with the Mercury Milan.  The Fusion is a nice looking car, but it is also well equipped.  This one is a creme metallic color with beige leather interior.

The company got us the SEL model which is the top of the line model.  The SEL comes standard with a variety of nice luxury features including: 6 disc CD changer that plays MP3s off the disc, MP3 player input jack in the armrest console, automatic climate control, leather wrapped steering wheel with speed, climate, and audio controls, power windows, power locks, automatic headlights, trip computer, fog lights, auto dimming rear view mirror, SYNC system,  compass, 17 inch aluminum alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot tires, and premium suede like cloth seats.  The SYNC system is really cool.  It is designed by Microsoft and integrates with my cell phone via blue tooth.  In addition, one can control an ipod through it too.  Moreover, the company paid for the anti-lock brakes, power moonroof, leather seats, and daytime running lights.

What's under the hood you ask?  Well, this is a 4 cylinder much like my other car.  The car has 160 horsepower just like my Acura.  As for the transmission, it is a 5 speed automatic.  It also has great safety features including side and side curtain airbags.

So far, I have enjoyed driving the Fusion.  It has the same horsepower as my Acura RSX so it is very similiar to driving the Acura.  The Fusion is a very quiet car also.  Score one for Detroit.  The clear tailights also add to the youthful styling of this car.
