The kitchen is fairly
big for an apartment. It features all the typical appliances one
would expect to find in a kitchen. I generally like to cook, and
I consider a food and wine critic. Generally, I cook pastas,
seafood including halibut and lobster, and chicken dishes also.
The old world style copper pots on the top shelves go well with the
copper piping on the water fountain. The door at the end of the
kitchen leads to my laundry room.
The wine theme
continues into the kitchen obviiously. I cook with wine a
lot. The wine cutting board goes well with all the other wine
country art work. I keep a wide array of spices on hand for my
cooking, and I generally cook with olive oil unless I am making
Oriental or Indian dishes.
You can not drink the
water in Northern California pretty much. Since college, I have
had Arrowhead deliver mountain spring water to my house. I also
use spring water for my water fountain to help keep away hard water
build up. The RNC calender above the water cooler was a gift from
the party for my numerous contributions to the Republican Party.
