I was happy to see that the Budget Fastbreak System was working fine
even late at night at the airport in Las Vegas!
I stayed at New York New York, a MGM property, for this short trip to
Vegas to take advantage of my invitation to attend the private Kane
Brown Concert as a MGM Rewards VIP.
Since I was at NY NY, my buddy and I went to Shake Shack to get a late
night snack after I flew in! I love the frozen custard there,
and
I brought a Crumbl Cookie with me to pair with it!
New York New York was busy! We found out that a lot of the
college students from Ohio State Univesity and Wake Forest were staying
there for their Fall Break on daddy's dime of course! LOL!
I saw that I had a pool view from the room in the morning.
My brother, an old high school buddy, his friend, and another friend of
mine joined me for brunch at the Wynn on the first day!
I love the pancake station at the Wynn Brunch. They always
come up with new creations!
The Wynn Buffet has great desserts too! I loved the lychee
and dragonfruit ice creams!
We decided to chill at the pool in the afternoon after the brunch to
relax before the concert! This is a skinny pina colada in my
hand. It was so so.
The New York New York rollercoaster wraps around the whole property.
The pool was decent sized, but I think it was one of the smaller ones
in Vegas.
Here is the smaller version of the Statue of Liberty at the New York
New York Hotel & Casino.
We had a quick over to MGM Grand from New York New York since they are
connected via a sky bridge.
For dinner, we went to Emeril's New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand.
The Creole Seafood Boil was AMAZING! I loved the broth!
This is the entrance to the MGM Grand Garden Arena where they hold many
of the fights.
I took this selfie by our seats inside the arena as we waited for Kane
Brown to start the show.
Country star Kane Brown is ready to put on a great show here!
He was singing Like I Love Country Music here.
The stage is on fire since the show was so HOT!
I waited patiently for him to do my favorite KB song, "One Mississippi."
This is an official picture from the concert that we later had access
to.
After the concert, we walked over to Caesar's Palace for a drink.
We passed Planet Hollywood where this dancer was entertaining
guests.
We went to Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesar's Palace for one of
their famous adult beverages.
The inside looks like a eclectic digital garden!
My drink was called "Puff The Magic Dragon," and this had mezcal in it.
Bellagio changed up the conservatory again since Joy and I were there
in August. They had an autumn theme now!
Yes, that is a real pumpkin! It is huge!
We went to Egg Slut at Cosmo the next morning for breakfast, but the
line was crazy! It wrapped over to the hallway by the yellow
sign!
Once we got to the counter to order, we were patiently waiting for our
gourmet breakfast sandwiches!
This is my $32 breakfast that includes the "guacho" egg sandwich which
had wagyu tri tip with the egg and argula. I also got the
duck
fat fried hash browns!
For dessert, we went to the Milk Bar next door. I got the
cereal
milk soft serve with cornflakes on the side! DELICIOUS!
After breakfast, we went to my brother's place to see my nephew!
He had a lot of gifts to open up!
Aakash really liked the volcano we got for him in Hawaii.
This volcano erupts with water and reveals a dinosaur!
Aakash and Uncle Anirban are just chilling and taking a selfie here!
We are playing James Bond with Nerf Guns here.
Before leaving Las Vegas, I got a quick bite to eat at the Club@LAS.
They also have a menu ordering system via the the QR code on
the table. The food was good!
I was invited by MGM Rewards to an exclusive private Kane Brown concert
in October of 2022. Joy and I had tickets to see him in
Sacramento in 2021, but the county had bull shit Covid mandates that
required us to show a vaccine card and mask. We did not think
that was cool so we sold our tickets for a profit. Although
that was disappointing, I was thrilled when I saw that we were invited
to this free VIP concert! Since Joy was training for a
marathon, she could not go, but I took a buddy of mine with me.
Kane Brown has a lot of great new country hits!
Since the concert was on Friday night, I
flew down on Thursday night to Vegas. Budget had my rental
car waiting for me in a spot per my Fastbreak agreement with them.
I remember what a pain the Fastbreak was during that Covid
crap a few years back. This time, they had my car with the
keys in it ready to go! I booked New York New York for this
trip since they are an MGM property, and I do not pay resort fees there
also since I am MGM Rewards Gold. After checking into the
room on the 19th floor of the Century Tower, we walked around the
casino and saw there were lots of college kids partying.
Apparently, Ohio State University and Wake Forest had their
Fall Breaks so the kids were out there to party on their dad's dime.
LOL.
The next morning, I was able to work out
in the gym before departing for the buffet at the Wynn with my buddy.
My brother joined us too. Also, my old high school
friend and his friend joined us too. The brunch was great as
usual at the Wynn. We had a reservation and prepaid admission
to the buffet so there was a very little wait for us. The
general public had to wait about an hour and a half to get in.
I loved their desserts a lot!
After the brunch, we went to the pool at
New York New York. The pool was smaller than other Vegas
hotels, but it was still not bad. I got a skinny pina colada
and took in the eye candy, um, I mean scenery of the beautiful
property. LOL.
The concert was at the MGM Grand Garden
Arena which was right across the street so we took the sky bridge over
to the MGM Grand. For dinner, we had reservations at Emeril's
New Orleans Fish House. I loved my entree! That
broth was just delicious in the Creole Seafood Boil! The
service was great too as expected!
Our concert began at 8:00, but the doors
opened at 7:00. MGM Rewards sent us the tickets via the AXS
app the day of the concert so we could not resell the ticket since it
was only for invited casino guests. Kane Brown did a great
show! The stage was on fire even during one of the
performances! He killed it on "One Mississippi" also.
I got see my nephew, Aakash, on Saturday
and give him a lot of presents that we had been collecting since we
last saw him in August. He loved this volcano we got him in
Hawaii which erupted and revealed a dinosaur. I also did stop
to get him some more toys before I went over.
MGM Rewards did a great job on the
concert, and I think they deserve a shout out! Thanks!
I love my VIP status with them!
