I have arrived at the airport and ready to go party for this cool guy's weekend trip to Las Vegas!

1
After arriving into Las Vegas and checking into Bally's, we headed over to Caesar's Palace on the first night to start drinking.

2
Caesar's has a bunch of cool bars to drink at.

3
What am I doing here with the statue?  Duh!  The Travolta!

4
I got a special Maker's Mark Reserve that was made just for Stadia.

5
Despite the newly inacted "mask ordinance" for all, the crowds were still coming to Vegas.  The mask mandate was mostly ignored!

13
The next morning, we caught the Bellagio Water Show as we made our way back to Caesar's Palace for lunch.

7
The next morning, we headed over to Caesar's Palace again to get lunch at Gordon Ramsay's Pub.

8
I got the three course lunch that included beef wellington. which is a signature dish that Gordon makes!

9
For dessert, I got the sticky toffee pudding which is a signature dessert for Mr. Ramsay.

6
We walked over to the High Roller via the Linq alley to get our complimentaryVIP tickets for later that night that my friend had with Caesar's Diamond status.

10
After we got the tickets, we went to Tilted Kilt for a drink.  Tilted Kilt is located near the Linq also.  Those kilts are so sexy!

11
They had a fundraiser for Make A Wish Foundation at Tilted Kilt.  I bought these leis made of a special Hawaiian coconut with the Cowboys logo all over it for $20.

12
Our waitress had to be masked unfortunately due to the new dumb mask ordinance in Las Vegas, but some of the other girls working there gave the finger to Nevada's idiot governor.

50
We walked by the flamingos at the Flamingo on the way back to Bally's.

14
We had complimentary tickets to the Real Bodies exhibit at Bally's also.

15
Since Covid-19 was still big in the news, they had a large area of the exhibit dedicated to Covid-19 and the respiratory system.

16
Since my speciality is in pulmonology and the respiratory system, I was fascinated with seeing the lungs.

17
This model showcases the respiratory system with the trachea that branches into the bronchi, bronchioles, and then into the alveoli.

18
The exhibits were really fascinating.  I was giving random strangers a lecture on how pulmonary circulation occurs too.  LOL.

49
I got some pool time in at the blu pool at Bally's.  The water was very warm!

19
For dinner, we had reservations at Giada which is located at the Cromwell next door to Bally's.

20
Our beautiful hostesses welcomed us and showed us to our table.

21
The inside of the restaurant looked really cool!  The window tables were apparently extra.

21
I started off my Giada experience with a glass of Italian prosecco.

23
I decided to do the tasting menu at Giada for $109.

24
We started out with oysters.  They were delicious!

49
My salad was even delicious!  Giada rocks!

26
My second course was the bucatini pasta.  I was so IMPRESSED with the pasta.  Not only was it freshly made, they cooked it "al dente!"

27
I got the filet mignon for my third course.

28
The chocolate hazelnut crunch cake was AMAZING!  Giada is definitely worth the money!

29
They have an open kitchen at Giada where the pasta is made fresh!

30
We went to the High Roller after dinner since it was right next door to the Cromwell.  We had VIP access so we did not wait in the long line!  Score!

31
This is a picture of the monorail from the High Roller as we were starting our climb to the top!

32
This is a cool picture of one of the pods on the High Roller with Ballys, Paris, and City Center in the background.

34
The other side of the pod had a great view of the Venetian and the Trump International Hotel.

47
The Linq alley was hopping that night!

35
I needed my iced latte the next morning so I went downstairs to the Illy coffee shop at Bally's for my overpriced $9 latte!  LOL.

36
The Bally's gym was not that crowded.  I worked out there both days.

37
We all went to the Bellagio Sunday Brunch that day.  The buffets were back baby!

38
Masks were not requried at all when moving around the buffet and getting one's food.

39
I started off with some pancakes, French Toast, and a cheese blitz.

40
The crab was delicious too!

41
I love the dessert stations at Vegas buffets!

42
After brunch, we went over to my brother's house so I could see my cute nephew.  He loved opening the gifts I brought for him.

43
Aakash was a little shy around his Uncle Anirban.  I got him that shirt before.  He loves it!

44
I joined my buddy at the Centurion Club by American Express once I got to the airport.

45
I was impressed with the food at the Centurion Club.

46
The inside of the Centurion Club was nice, but they closed at 7:00 so I went over to the Club @ Las where I have access.

A good buddy of mine and an old fraternity brother asked me to join him for a guy's trip to Las Vegas towards the end of July in 2021 to take advantage of the specials he gets as a Caesar's Diamond member.  We got a great rate on the room!  The best part was all the VIP perks we got like $200 in dining credits, VIP tickets to the High Roller ferris wheel, free tickets to the Real Bodies exhibit, and even VIP buffet line access!  Yay!

I flew out late on Friday to join my buddy in Vegas.  My brother picked me up at the airport, and we headed over to Bally's.  Although we were in the renovated tower, the view was not that spectacular.  The room was decent however.  I guess no one spends much time in the room in Vegas anyway!  We headed out to Caesar's to start the weekend off with drinks.  Originally, I wanted to go to Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, but it closed early so we had a drink at the Stadia bar at Caesar's.  Although the idiot governor of Nevada mandated masks again in the highly populated counties, he said the state would not enforce them so most people ignored the request to mask!  After all, the deal was get vaccinated, and we are done!  No more masks!  The liberals just want to keep controling the people!  Boo!

The next day, we walked over to Caesar's Palace again to get lunch.  I made reservations at Gordon Ramsay's Pub.  Joy and I ate at Hell's Kitchen a few years back for Christmas Eve, and we loved the food.  Gordon Ramsay's Pub had some of the same items on the menu including the beef wellington and the sticky toffee pudding!  I got the three course meal and chose the beef wellington and sticky toffee pudding along with a caesar's salad.  The food was delicious!  Gordon is hard to beat, but I knew he would be in for competition later that evening we went to Giada's for dinner.

We walked around the Linq after lunch to burn off the calories, but also we had to go get our VIP tickets to the High Roller ferris wheel.  Since my friend was Diamond with Caesar's, we did not even have to wait in line to get the tickets or to board the ferris wheel later that evening.  After getting the tickets, we headed over to Tilted Kilt to get a drink.  It is so hard to resist those cute waitresses in the little kilts!  LOL.  I got a cool lei made of these special nuts from Hawaii with the Cowboys colors and logo on them from a lady selling them for Make A Wish Foundation.  My buddy wanted wings too so we got a post lunch snack.  LOL.

My buddy got us free tickets to the Real Bodies exhibit at Bally's also, but he did not want to go so I checked it out by myself.  I was intrigued by the respiratory system since I studied so much on it for my job at my biotech company recently.  Moreover, I gave a random lecture to people I did not know on how pulmonary circulation works.  The people were amazed at how much I knew.  LOL.  Well, I am a Medical Specialist after all!

After I toured the exhibit, this cute young lady approached me trying to sell me a virtual reality ride.  I told her how my previous pharmaceutical company had a lot of this VR stuff set up for us at a dinner, and how they also rented out the top clubs in Vegas for us like Omnia and Hakkasan.  So, she was very interested in talking to me since she wanted to be a nurse one day.  This cute girl from El Salvador was attending a community college in Southern Nevada.  She asked if she could follow me on Instagram.  Since I did not really use Instagram, I was like sure why not.  LOL.  I figured I could share her pictures with my single buddies to see if they wanted to hook up with her.  However, I was impressed that I still had it if you know what I mean.  A lot of people think I am in my twenties still.  I have aged really well!

We decided to get massages after the Real Bodies exhibit.  They had the chair massages set up near the exhibit.  My therapist did a decent job giving me a relaxing massage!

I got in some good pool time at the Blu Pool at Bally's.  Although it was not the fanciest of the Vegas pools, the water was warm, and it was not too crowded.  We got great weather too that weekend as it was overcast most of the time.

After the pool, we went to Giada's at the Cromwell for dinner.  I decided to do the $109 four course tasting menu to get a sampling of everything.  We also ordered some oysters to start out the culinary experience.  I got a glass of Italian prosecco to start.  For my tasting menu, I did a romaine lettuce salad with fried capers.  My second course was the bucatini pasta.  I was so amazed with the pasta!  They cooked it perfectly or "al dente" as they say in Italy!  I got the filet mignon for my third course.  Afterwards, I finished with a chocolate hazelnut cake!  I think Giada might have beaten Gordon out this time!  LOL.

We decided to go on the High Roller after dinner.  Since we had VIP access, we skipped the LONG line and went straight to our pod.  This was my third time on the High Roller, but it was still cool!

The next day, I had to go find a place to get my morning latte before working out at the gym at Bally's.  Once my brother arrived, we went to Bellagio for their brunch.  My friend got MGM to match his status with Caesar's so we got VIP access for the buffet line too.  The buffet was pretty much back to normal.  Masks were not required.  Also, one served themselves like in the past.  I think the quality of the Bellagio buffet has gone down from the past, but the crab legs were delicious.

I went to see my cute nephew after brunch.  Aakash was very shy around me this time, but I got a kick out of him opening his gifts.  He is a very sweet boy!

After my brother dropped me off at the airport, I joined my buddy at the American Express Centurion Lounge to have dinner before flying out.  The food was pretty good.  That lounge closed early so I went to the Club @ LAS to relax a little more before my flight back home to Sacramento!
