We began our weekend getaway to th DFW Metroplex as usual in the Escape
Lounge at SMF before our direct flight to Dallas Love Field.  I
had to wear my Cowboys gear as I was going "home" to where I grew up!

I love the DFW Metroplex, but DAL is the airport code for Dallas Love Field which is a very easy airport to get in and out of!

We found a Whataburger near Love Field after we got the rental car to
get lunch at!  The service is amazing for a fast food place, and
the prices were much lower than shitty California.

Whataburger is the official burger of the Cowboys!  No, this ws
not our date night place.  LOL.  Joy was surprised at how all
the food we got was under $20 since CA fast food has gone up a lot due
to the higher cost of labor.

I took Joy to my old neighborhood in Plano to show her the house where I grew up.  It was a huge "McMansion."

The Carpenter Recreation Center near my old house is run by the City of
Plano and features a large indoor running track, billiards room,
racquetball, and other activities.  They added a pool now too.
This place opened when we moved to Plano.

A friend of mine in the Metroplex suggested we go to Walmart to get Joy
some new Cowboys gear for the game.  I loved all the Cowboys
displays at the Plano Walmart.

I got bags of Tortitos Cowboys chips to bring home also.

We went to Wild Pitch in Frisco afterwards for drinks and a snack.
This place has more "scenic views" than Twin Peaks if you get
what I am saying.  LOL.

I got my TX bourbon, and Joy was a good sport about being one of the
few women in the place.  She liked their sushi however.

The front desk guy was very helpful when I called from the plane since
he got us checked into a room that was available early since I am a
Diamond guest.  We also got a view of AT&T Stadium!

We ended up booking the roundtrip charter bus shuttle for the game at the front desk when we checked in.

The only two cars left at the rental car placewas this fully loaded
Pacifica minivan or a large Suburban.  I was embarrased when I
pulled up to the valet at Pappas Brothers Steakhouse in it.  LOL.

Pappas Brothers Steakhouse is probably the top steakhouse in the DFW Metroplex.  This was where we had our date night!

The Roys are ready for a night on the town in one of the wealthiest areas in the United States!

They had a display case in the entrance where the different cuts of steak where including the dry aged prime steaks.

I started off with a barrel select version of Weller.  They had a
phone at our table, but I could not get any dial tone.  LOL.

Joy and I are looking fabulous as usual!  I love being successful!

We started off with the deconstructed lobster devil eggs.  They were delicious!

The lobster bisque was amazing!

Joy and I shared the dry aged prime Porterhouse steak.  They cut it up for us at the table.

The dessert cart is the best part of dinner!  LOL.

The place was packed!  Lots of celebrities including Cowboys
players eat here.  The Dallas Wings WNBA coach was dining here
that night too.

For dessert, we got a deconstructed pecan pie for dessert.  This was very good!

That is not bad for an average night out with the Roys!

We are ready to head over to AT&T Stadium from the hotel here.

The shuttle dropped us by the old Rangers ballpark.  We walked
over to AT&T from there.  I have to give a shout out to my
Rangers who play here at the "Barn."

There were lots of Cowboys fans in Arlington heading to the game.  I think the total attendance was 92,000 fans.

I had to take a selfie with the legend, Tom Landry here!

Mariachi Vargas from Mexico City was at the Miller Lite House to perform.  They are considered the best mariachi band!

That is my $75 drink which includes the Cowboys Yeti that I kept.
It had Odigizuwa on it.  Five Trails was good Texas bourbon!

The gates open at 10:00 AM for the noon games at AT&T.  Lots of fans were at the Miller Lite House to preparty!

The Cowboys Cheerleaders came out to get the crowd all ready for the game!

America's Sweathearts got the crowd all excited for the match up against our divisional rivals, the Giants!

Here is a nice picture of AT&T Stadium too as the Cowboys Cheerleaders performed for us.

I think the blonde cheerleader in the front row is the cutest one on the squad!  She had a Hayden Panettiere face.

Let's Go Cowboys Cheerleaders!

Joy and I are heading into the air conditioned stadium!  We love our climate control sports facilities in the Metroplex!

We are settling into our seats here.

The cheerleaders are performing before the game here.

The Cowboys Cheerleaders are getting ready to welcome the team here.

Here are the team introductions!  Let's Go Cowboys!

We had a moment of silence to honor Charlie Kirk, a great American PATRIOT who was senselessly murdered by a leftist that week.

The Cowboys are getting ready to kick off to the Giants here.  We had great seats!

The Cowboys offense is on the field here.

The Cowboys run around the end zones with our flag when we score!  It is similiar to what happens at the Rangers games too!

The Cowboys just took the lead again here in the 4th quarter as this game was going back and forth on the lead change!

Aubrey sent the game into OT with a 64 yard kick, and then he won the game in OT with a field goal too!

We got ice cream at Braum's after the game to celebrate.  Joy also loves their cones so we bought two boxes to bring home.

We went to Las Colinas to meet an old friend for dinner at a fine dining Indian establishment called Sanjh.

Cheers!  My buddy is a solid conservative also.  We talked a lot about Texas politics.  Joy got bored.  LOL.

Sanjh is one of the few Indian fine dining establishments in the
country.  It was pricey, but the food and service was spot on!

The chef infuses non-traditional Indian flavors into some of the items too like this appetizer which had blackberries.

The kitchen was open to the diners.  It reminded me off the
kitchen at Bukhara in New Delhi which is one of the top restaurants in
Asia.

The staff was very attentive and served all the items family style at the table.

The dessert presentation was amazing.  On top of their signature
rasmali was an edible candle that infused flavors as it burned.
    F the liberal green
lobby!  That is the best way to sum up my thoughts as I flew to
the DFW Metroplex with Joy to watch the Cowboys home opener in 2025.
The stupid liberals wanted us to stop traveling and stay home
during that bull shit plandemic they did in 2020, but they failed!
I love air travel!  Air travel allows me to fly to somewhere
half way or fully across the country direct in a few hours and get out
of the madness we face in the Newscum's California.  I love Texas
since I grew up there.  Life is amazing there with no state income
tax and a lower cost of living which allows the fine dining
establishments to hire plenty of staff to take care of customers unlike
California where the $20 minimum wage has killed not only fine dining
but even fast food.  Anyway, bear with me as I talk about this
amazing weekend with my wife in the metroplex as I am pumped up even
more than ever about my conservative principles as the left killed one
of our own recently.  Charlie Kirk was a great American patriot
who helped turn a generation away from the lies of the liberal and
socialist teachers unions and towards the American values which made
our country so great.  My thoughts are with the Kirk family and
with his dynamic widow, Erika, who will lead Turning Point USA into
even greater heights.  We need to preserve our Republic for future
generations and avoid communism at all costs! Joy and I donated to
Turning Point USA when we got back from his trip too.
We departed Sacramento on Saturday morning for
Dallas Love Field.  Our usual car service picked us up early for
the 8:05 AM flight to Texas.  After arriving into Love Field, we
went straight to the Budget Fast Break booth to get the rental car.
They only had a Suburban or Chrsyler Pacifica minivan available
since lots of people were in town that weekend.  So, we took the
fully loaded minivan since it is easier to drive than a Suburban.
We headed to Whataburger for lunch after getting the car.
Joy was shocked at how cheap it was!  She took out two
twenty dollar bills for the cashier, and the cashier said no ma'am its
only $17.  LOL.  Living in California, we are used to crazy
high prices thanks to the idiot Governor's $20 minimum wage for fast
food workers.  Screw that!  A fast food worker should not
make that.  The service sucks too in California despite them
getitng paid that amount.  We were impressed with the staff at
Whataburger who brought our burgers and fries to us at the table, and
the guy even had a condiment tray for us.  We do not worry about
plastic waste in Texas like the stupid liberal enviromental freaks in
California.  If one can not tell yet, I hate California, and I
love Texas so much!  The seasonal Dr. Pepper shake at Whataburger
was delicious!
After lunch, I took Joy to Plano to show her the
house where I grew up.  We had a very large home in the Metroplex.
The left side of the upstairs was the second masterbedroom which
was my room.  We also had a large gameroom next to my bedroom and
en suite bathroom.  Texas has large homes!  Afterwards, I
showed Joy the Carpenter Recreation Center which was built when we
lived there.  There is a large indoor track so Joy got excited at
that.  Normally, they charge a small fee for even non residents to
use the facility, but the courteous front desk guy told us to walk
around and check out the place without paying the fee.  Joy was
surprised at how nice people are in Texas.  This is what happens
when people are not taxed like crazy!  We went to Walmart to gear
some Cowboys gear afterwards since Joy wanted a new shirt for the game.
Then, we went to Frisco for some eye canding (for me at least) at
Wild Pitch.  LOL.  I will not go into details, but one can
look up what Wild Pitch is.
We checked into our room at the Hilton Arlington
afterwards.  I called the hotel when we were leaving Sacramento to
see if I had to reserve the shuttle bus to the game ahead of time, but
the clerk said they had plenty of room.  He also offered to change
the room I selected to one with a similiar view of AT&T Stadium and
the Ranger's Ballpark so we would have a room as soon as we landed.
He said as a Diamond guest, it was his pleasure to go above and
beyond for us.  Wow!  Texas is just an amazing state!  I
asked him when we checked out too if we can use the gym after the
Cowboys game, and he said I can do whatever I wanted since this was "my
hotel" as a Diamond guest!  I got a chance to work out as usual
before we headed out to dinner.
I made reservations at Pappas Brothers Steakhouse in
west Dallas for Joy and me for a nice date night in the Metroplex.
The valet took the minivan as we arrived.  I was a little
embarrased so I made sure to let the valet know this was the only real
option left at the rental car place.  LOL.  The Roys are used
to luxury rental cars often for our trips.  Pappas Brothers was
packed, and they said we could wait in the bar as our table was being
prepared.  I walked around and checked out the fine bottles of
bourbon they had.  Shortly after, we were shown to our beautiful
table in this classic Dallas steakhouse.  We had an old style
phone at our table too, and the hostess said it should work.
However, I did not get any dial tone.  A buddy of mine in
Reno told me to call him and tell them it was an emergency.  LOL.
Pappas Brothers has some good barrel select whiskey
and bourbons that were made just for them.  I got a Weller barrel
select to start off dinner.  Joy wanted their deconstructed
lobster devil eggs so we got those.  I loved their lobster bisque!
We got the dry aged prime porterhouse steak which they carved for
us at the table.  Dinner was amazing!  Apparently, the WNBA
Dallas Wings coach was dining there too when we were.  A lot of
celebrities love this place, and Dez Bryant even took the Dallas
Cowboys rookies here once for a famous team meeting.  For dessert,
we got a deconstructed pecan pie!  I got a Bookers bourbon to
finish off dinner too.
The next morning, we had the breakfast buffet at the
Hilton.  Since I am a Diamond guest, I got my iced Americano for
free too in addition to our food and beverage credit.  I was
surprised the waitress did not even verify my Diamond status. She just
took my word for it.  People in Texas are trusting since they are
not like the lying losers in liberal California!  We got ready for
our game afterwards since they allowed fans into the stadium at 10:00
AM!  We took the chartered shuttle buses over to the area where
all the stadiums are in Arlington.
I made sure to get a picture with the Tom Landry
statue in front of AT&T Stadium.  After we got into the
stadium grounds, we went to the Miller Lite House to check out the
world famous Mariachi Vargas who were performing for Hispanic Heritage
Day at the stadium.  I got a $75 drink at the Miller Lite House.
LOL.  Well, it included a $45 Cowboys Yeti Rambler too.
The Texas bourbon was good too.  We checked out the Dallas
Cowboys Cheerleaders performing in the little field by the Miller Lite
House.  All their cheerleaders are hot, but one of them was so
striking.  She looked like that actress Hayden P.  Wow!
Our seats were pretty much on the 50 yard line so we
had an amazing view of the game.  We got Blue Bell ice cream once
we got into the stadium too.  I love me some Blue Bell!  The
game was closer than I thought.  There were lots of lead changes,
and our defense sucked!  However, our kicker Brandon Aubrey sent
the game into OT with a 64 yarder.  Then, he won the game in OT
for us.  I loved the pep talks from Michael Irvin during the game
on the large Jumbotron too.  AT&T Stadium was all it was hyped
up to be!
After the game, we got ice cream at Braum's.
It is a famous Oklahoma dairy company, and I grew up on their
milk and ice cream!  We drove out to Las Colinas to have dinner
with a friend at Sanjh.  Joy loved Las Colinas.  I think I
finally sold her on moving to the Metroplex one day.  Las Colinas
is built around many lakes, and she loved how safe and clean it was.
She saw how people can jog along the water with no problems.
Also, the people are so nice and friendly.  Moreover, she
was shocked at how there was no graffiti or homeless as we drove around
the Metroplex.  Sanjh is a fine dining Indian establishment.
We dropped over $300 on dinner that night which is pricey for
Indian food, but the food and service was so good!  The restaurant
had plenty of staff to come around and serve the dishes.  At one
point, a waitress came over and said would you like more goat sir.
We were like did she mean do we want a second order, but she just
wanted to serve us so we did not have to.  Fuck the liberals in
California!  I hate Newscum so bad.  As a member of the high
society, I expect good service when I am dropping a few hundred dollars
on dinner.  In California, that is almost non existent since
restaurants can not afford that much staff.  Also, many liberal
cities in California mandate a 3% surcharge to pay for the wait staff's
health insurance.  Screw that!  It is not my responsibility
to do that.  I hate California so bad!  Joy and I tip VERY
well especially in the red states where the service is great.  I
do not care if I offended anyone with my writings here.  My
friends will say I am a very caring person, but I will not let my
country go down because of the communist crap the Democrats have done
since Obama.  Charlie Kirk is an American patriot, and we will
carry on his work to ensure that future generations can live as well as
Joy and me!  I will close with how good air travel is since I was
able to have that nice dinner with my friend in Dallas and still fly
back home due to the two hour time difference and sleep in my own bed
in California.  Technology is a great thing!  Liberals want
us to go backwards to the Middle Ages with their green agenda!
